Students may purchase textbook through the Rhode Island Fire

Instructors Association:

IFSTA 6th Edition – Essentials of Firefighting

(Including – Chapters 23 & 24)

Notice: HazMat Operations is now part of the Firefighter I

curriculum. Students must fill out 2 registration forms, one

for the Firefighter I portion of the class and a second for

HazMat Operations. Please forward copies of NIMS 100,

200, and 700 certificates.
